Greetings from the Native American Human Resources Association!

The Native American Human Resources Association (NAHRA) is a regional nonprofit corporation headquartered in New Mexico, established for the purpose of developing a network of Human Resources professional whereby members can communicate and share information relative to their HR needs and employment practices in a tribal environment.   The Association collectively adddresses various tribes and other entities to enhance the professional development of each member!

The NAHRA concept began in July 2000 and was formally established through the passage of By-Laws in November 2000. The initial participants were individuals working in the human resources profession for tribal governments or tribal entities. The current membership includes tribal governments, organizations, businesses, enterprises, educational institutions and individuals in tribal human resources.

NAHRA consists of a Board of Directors which includes the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary as well as individual members and corporate members. The Board of Directors serves two-year terms on a volunteer basis.
